Catherine Njeri

Certified Africa Yoga Project and Baptiste yoga teacher.

I have been teaching and practicing yoga since 2009 and am passionate about creating world class wellbeing leaders through the Africa Yoga Project due to my personal experience of how yoga changed my life. I witness daily how yoga impacts the overall wellbeing of my students and encourages a healthy lifestyle. I have the privilege to say that I was the first Kenyan woman to lead a 200 hour yoga teacher training in Sub Saharan Africa and am now a co-facilitator of this training annually in Nairobi, Kenya. I teach Baptiste Power yoga and I offer Private classes, group classes, prenatal, mommy and me and corporate yoga classes. I also offer yoga related workshops and talks. When I'm not teaching yoga or leading trainings, I love to spend time with my 5 year old daughter and braid her and her friends' hair!

Africa Yoga Project Educates, Empowers, Elevates and Expands Employability with youth in Africa using the transformational practice of yoga. Our vision is to create opportunities for youth to step into their greatness and become self-sustaining leaders in their communities.
