Edwin Omondi

I'm from Nairobi Kenya, trained and certified as a yoga teacher currently working with Africa Yoga Project (AYP). I completed my 200hrs Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga training last year March 23rd to April 3rd 2016.

After training I taught free outreach classes in my community for 3 months. I am a martial artist doing unified martial arts called Tong ill moo- do. I also do fine arts and design, I print t-shirts, do sandals and also yoga blocks just to mention a few.

Yoga has helped me to be flexible and also helped me improve my martial arts skills. It has also helped me a lot in breathing and given me inner strength that I need a lot in martial arts. Yoga also has given me the opportunity to meet new people from different races and backgrounds. I love yoga!

Africa Yoga Project Educates, Empowers, Elevates and Expands Employability with youth in Africa using the transformational practice of yoga. Our vision is to create opportunities for youth to step into their greatness and become self-sustaining leaders in their communities.
