Gergentia Shome (Namibia) - 2015 Teacher Training Scholar:  How Teacher Training changed her life.

Teacher training changed my life!

  1. Awareness enhancement; I am more aware present to my emotions and feelings of others. I have grown more compassionate towards myself and others in my everyday life since the training begun.
  2. I have also become more attentive to my surroundings and my thoughts and what comes out of my mouth.
  3. I have learnt a new expression of speaking from l, and authentic communication.

What is also new is living my yoga every day from my mat and sharing that with others especially family, friends and my community.

I found acceptance of myself and everyone else as they are and as they are not.

I am thankful to AYP for this, and will extend the love of yoga to all I come in touch with.

Thanks for providing this itrfomanion. There is evidence of healing work on the hand, ears and feet throughout ancient cultures around the globe. A 5,000 year old tomb Egyptian physician’s tomb contains a 6 panel series of medical procedures including: childbirth, embalming, circumcision, pharmacology, dentistry and work on the hands, feet and arm pit. The pictograph shows the feet, hands and armpits being touched and has an inscription that reads, “Don’t hurt me” and “I shall do as you so praise me.”Again thanks a lot.:)
