Seva Safari Service Project Lead

Samson brings 12 years experience in management and construction skills, after having previously worked with Habitat for Humanity Kenya as office assistant, construction supervisor, project manager and new project development officer. He was a member of Cincinnati Habitat for Humanity where he helped to build decent homes along with God’s people in need. He has also worked with Africa Yoga Project as an empowerment coach, yoga instructor and Seva Safari Coordinator. He was trained in first Aid with Mountain Education and development LLC. He holds a Diploma in Architecture and Drawings from Sigalagala Technical School.

In 2013, Samson became certified through Next Generation Yoga to lead children’s classes. In the same year he gained his Anatomy Training for postures and functionality and also achieved his certification for Art of Assisting. He completed Baptiste Level II training in Malindi, Level III in Menla with Baron Baptiste himself and then attained his official certification as a professional Baptiste Yoga Instructor.

Within his time at AYP, for the past five years, he has committed himself to growing the service projects and outreaches. When Seva Safaris and Ambassadors of the Africa Yoga Project visit Nairobi and the Shine Center, he works as a liaison between AYP and the communities to ensure their work done and time in Kenya is productive and enjoyable for everyone.
