Nyakinyua is a yoga teacher and trained counseling psychologist, passionate about working with individuals through yoga and words to provide them with avenues for self-realization and growth. This comes from a deep belief that the practice of yoga is a tool that assists individuals to tap into and strengthen their inner resources in order to lead a more fulfilled lifestyle. Nyakinyua is a certified 200hr AYP teacher, has completed Baptiste Level 2 teacher training and has assisted in Mind Body Wellbeing (MBW) trainings for yoga teachers. At AYP her duties include but not limited to; weekly reporting on outreach classes, continuous content modification and very recently facilitating the implementation of an ongoing Mind Body Wellbeing Program. Nyakinyua holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Makerere university and a Higher Diploma in Psychological counseling from Kenya Institute of Business and counseling. During her free time, you will find her either reading, discovering new recipes, traveling, taking care of animals, crocheting or taking long walks in nature.
