Aline Mazimpaka

I'm a social worker and yoga teacher in Rwanda. I have a bachelor’s degree in social work from the National University of Rwanda and in 2014 I attended a 200hrs yoga teacher training in Kenya; which made me the first woman yoga teacher in my country!  I have attended 3 trainings on FOUNDATION TO CONSCIOUS LIVING, BREATH BASED HEALING TECHNIQUES FOR STRESS, AND TRAUMA REDUCTION. I am a meditation coach under Peace Revolution.

I currently teach yoga to Indigo Africa (boss ladies), Agahozo Shalom youth village (school of orphans), and genocide survivor orphans (One Dollar Hostel) under AZAHAR Foundation. I teach private classes and group yoga classes as well and volunteer with Africa Yoga Project by providing free yoga classes in communities who otherwise would not have access to yoga in Rwanda

I am passionate about empowering youth and women impacted by genocide through yoga practice.

Our bodies and minds must be connected in order to create lasting change. We deliver tools to bring wellbeing to the world, one body at a time.
