200hr AYP teacher training, Baptiste Level II, Next Generation Kids Yoga, Art of Assisting, Prenatal and certified to teach acrobatics and lead circus trainings.

I have been practicing yoga for the past six years, and have experience teaching for the past four years. I have been doing acrobatics for the past ten years. It was through my time in acro that I was introduced to the Africa Yoga Project. I have taught circus in international and local schools in and around Nairobi.

I completed my 200hr AYP teacher training certification in 2013 and my Baptiste Level II in Mombasa in 2014 by Baron Baptiste himself. I am also certified within Next Generation Kids Yoga in 2014, Art of Assisting in 2015, and Prenatal yoga also in 2015. For acrobatics I am certified to teach and lead people through circus trainings.

I enjoy working with kids, and I am myself a mother. Yoga helped me to calm down, to release my stress, to be patient, and to be a good mother, always standing for my daugher and other women. Currently I am a yoga instructor, an AYP academy member, as well as an acrobat and gym instructor.

From my classes, my students receive self-confidence and self-acceptance, knowing that where they are now is a state of perfection. Currently I am teaching four private classes a week, four outreach classes per week, and a company class to Nakumatt Headquarter employees. I enjoy volunteering my time for others teaching yoga.

Africa Yoga Project delivers global wellbeing in and from Africa. We practice and teach Yoga with a deep conviction that the potential to change the world lives in each of us. Our bodies and minds must be connected in order to create lasting change. We deliver tools to bring wellbeing to the world, one body at a time.
