AYP 200HR Baptiste power yoga, Dance Creation and Teaching

Hello yogis! I am Roger Masaba and have been an instructor of Baptiste yoga practice since 2014. I completed my training at the Shine Center Studio in Nairobi with my 200hr Baptiste power yoga certification course. Although I am trained in Baptiste, I find Afrikhan and Ashtanga yoga practices interesting as well and have experience in those genres, although I am not certified in them. I am a performing artist, qualified in the discipline of dance creation and teaching with over 20 years of experience. I attended Makerere University, department of performing arts and film to obtain this title. Structuring, standardizing and streamlining processes to provide more accurate and productive working parts that enhance and fuse material art, yoga processes, and vitality is what I thrive in doing. I am passionate about this process as I feel that it facilitates a renewed holistic experience.

My introduction into Baptiste yoga has revealed abundant new meaning and a sense of purpose in my life which I would like to pass on to my students. An emphasis has been placed on the importance of my physical, emotional and social wellbeing which has been uplifting and rejuvenating. I want the best for my students, and I feel that I can provide that with the meaningful practice of Baptiste yoga. I teach at AYP, outreaches, as well as private class arrangements. I want to service my community to the best of my ability through creativity, curiosity, reliability and commitment.
